Covid 19 Clinic Updates
First I’ll start with the new hours of operation which will be as follows…
Tuesday 10am - 5pm
Wednesday 10am - 7pm
Thursday 10am - 5pm
I will be working part- time outside of Massage Therapy on Mondays and Fridays and won’t be available on these days.
Currently you will be able to book 60, 75 and 90 minute appointments. This is due to the time needed in between appointments for cleaning/ sanitizing. 30 and 45 minute treatments will not be offered at this time. This may change in the future depending on the time needed between appointments for cleaning etc.
In March prior to Covid 19, I was increasing my prices and have decided to still do so. Prices are posted on my website.
Cancellation fees are still the same although if you cancel due to Covid 19 symptoms there will be NO charge as long as you contact the clinic. No shows are subject to a cancellation fee. If you need to cancel due to Covid 19 symptoms I am not able to rebook you until after the 14 days of quarantine is over.
Before Treatment: The day before your treatment you’ll receive a form with questions about
Covid 19 and any symptoms. This form needs to be completed on the day before your appointment. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your appointment. You will also be prescreened with the same questions when entering the clinic. Please bring a mask with you. If you don’t have a mask I will provide you with one for a small fee. Please don’t arrive more than 5 - 10 minutes early for your appointment. If this happens please wait in your car. Also please don’t arrive right at your appointment time as you’ll need time to answer prescreening questions, take off your shoes, wash and sanitize your hands and possibly use the washroom which will cut into your treatment time. When you arrive, I’ll wave you in. Upon entering the clinic I’ll have you take off your footwear and make your way to the bathroom to wash and sanitize your hands. After which you’ll enter the treatment room.
During Treatment: I’ll leave and you can place your clothing in the plastic basket provided. During the treatment you can take your mask off when lying on your stomach, and place it back on your face before turning onto your back. Please let me know if you have any conditions that make wearing a mask uncomfortable or unsafe such as asthma etc. I ask that we keep chatting to a minimum during the treatment but please still communicate your comfort level with temperature and pressure etc. When the treatment is finished you can use the sanitizer provided in the treatment room.
After Treatment: After treatment payment will be made preferably electronically ( interac, e-transfer, direct billing) Although I still accept cash. I ask that after payment clients leave promptly to allow me to start cleaning/sanitizing for the next client. Follow up appointments can be made online, by phone or email. Receipts will be emailed.
